to give brighton13 some credit here guys. He has built some of the most amazing stunts/jumps/trails that I have ever had the privilege of riding so don't think the comments come from someone who doesn't know what their talking about....that being said I think what is happening at Spring Mountain is a good thing!! I have been riding the mountain for over 10 years and remember the days of Mt Perk's Race Series...so I have seen it go from grass roots race series to crap and now back to a "mtb" mountain. I think to have a mountain that is willing to charge $25 for a lift pass the owners must be willing to invest some $$$ into the park. You can rely on volunteers to build a park that will bring in profit for the owners. There also needs to be a trail boss who has a vision for the mountain that has a good bit of trailbuilding talent. To create a mountain this is fun for all levels/styles of riding is not easy thing to do! I wish the very best for Spring Mt and the people that are putting their time in to build it. I just hope the support from the owners and visionaries can keep it moving forward to the mountain that it could be.....
